Back for Halloween 2017 I shot with Mx Loki, as the body found in the leaves, and Rowan, as Persephone.

I loved the location, both their concepts, and the concepts together.

Faerie Rade 2018

Yesterday I attended the Faerie Rade.

It's been awhile since I've been to one, but seeing everyone's costumes and creativity has really inspiring. I'm taking a bit of a step back from taking photos at events, preferring to get photos of friends, or mini shoots this year.
So I photographed Eloquent Mx Loki, and Sasha von Plundercat at the rade.

Mx Loki was the light refraction caused by a Fae's Glamour

Heavenly Sinners

I love shooting latex, but don't often get to work with men wearing it. I did this shoot with Mushroom x Head a few months back, it was a quick one to get him used to being in front of the camera.
I also enjoy using my ring light as a prop.

Flour

Another shoot from February 2017, where Mx Loki and I shot a whole lot before they got their hair cut.

This was a shoot they had wanted to do for years, and decided it was time to do it before they no longer had the chance. It was an interesting shoot to do, we got a lot of funny shots where flour and hair exploded all over the place but we also got these amazing shots!

The Pumpkin Lord

Back in October Mx Loki and I attended the Melbourne Gothic & Victorian Picnic.
It was also the first big outing for Mx Loki's ADiT, Vader. So rather than run around and photograph everyone, I decided to just help out Mx Loki and Vader and just enjoy the event. I had much more enjoyable time as I wasn't stressing about getting enough or good photos.
Afterwards we then took Vader and had our first photoshoot with her! We hope she will model a lot more in the future.

Alien Royalty

For my semester 1 Film assignment I made a Kylo Ren fanfilm.
Whilst a lot of it featured Kylo Ren, there were a few seconds with some alien royalty. I loved these looks that Mx Loki created; they always know how to take my ideas and make them 100% better.

Birth of Venus

Back in February, before Mx Loki's hair cut, we did a Birth of Venus inspired shoot.
This was difficult to shoot (and edit) because the rocks were hard for both of us to stand on, and shooting midday in Summer meant a lot of harsh shadows and over exposing the images. But it was a good challenge, resulting in some gorgeous images.

Restless Meditation

For my semester 1 Film assignment I made a Kylo Ren fanfilm. 

Whilst I was focusing on filming, I couldn't help but take some photos of Mx Loki's young Kylo in this gorgeous setting. These have a much softer feel than my usual photography, and feel more cinegraphic; which I love.

Delicious Dessert Demons

Back in August during Kitty Obsidian's trip down to Melbourne, Mx Loki and I had a fun ice cream shoot with her. It was a challenging shoot, as we had a small space to work in, but I'm pleased with the results, and working with this pair is always great.
